Diane has assisted many multinational organizations across all industries create and sustain competitive advantage through process enhancements and controls optimization. She has extensive experience in organizing and leading functional teams of individuals, assessing process and information flows, tracking results, developing recommendations and implementing changes that benefit business performance. She is Six Sigma trained and currently working on her black belt certification. Diane’s strengths include her ability to quickly assess situations, consider alternatives and present recommendations for improvements as well as lead and train cross functional teams.
Prior to building her own firm, Diane was a Director in the PwC Risk Assurance practice in NY Metro. Her role as a leader in this practice was to focus on risk management, compliance and systems related assessments on PwC audit and consulting engagements. Her responsibilities included managing the relationship with the CIO and Internal Audit as well as working with the CEO and CFO to respond to client needs, providing thought leadership and presenting observations and recommendations to senior executives and Audit Committees. Diane led the PwC private company practice in the NY metro region due to her ability to apply her experience from working with public companies to tailor processes and controls for private organizations.
In addition to her consulting work, Diane is an Adjunct Professor for the Jack Welch School of Business at Sacred Heart University where she is currently developing and teaching a course on Operations and Supply Chain Management.
Diane was an Adjunct Professor at Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business where she taught courses in Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems and Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. She was also a Guest Lecturer for the Stern Graduate School of Business where she led a session on Risk and Controls in the undergraduate accounting program.
Diane received her MBA in Information Systems from Pace University in New York and her BBA in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She has authored sections of the Law Firm Accounting and Financial Management and the Handbook of EDP Auditing, written by PwC and published by Warren, Gorham & Lamont.
